At Grounds for Coffee, our goal is simple; to bring you the freshest coffee possible, in a timely and convenient manner, at competitive prices, with an emphasis on customer service and support. We've been providing this to our local customers in Ogden, Utah since 1991.

Do you LOVE making people happy by preparing superior espresso-based beverages? We are looking for an extremely positive, friendly, and dependable Barista to join our team. The applicant will be asked to demonstrate drink preparation skills so prior barista experience is required. Additional training for adherence to our menu options will be provided.

We are only hiring for baristas for our kiosk inside McKay-Dee Hospital at this time . You must be dependable, enjoy early mornings, and able to work a 12 hour shift. Transportation is required for this position. The shift each weekday is approximately 6 am to 6 pm. We are looking to hire 2 to 4 people to fill these weekday shifts. Applicants may apply for one, two, or three days per week. We will coordinate around school or another set job schedule, if you have the experience we are looking for. Our Barista at this location works alone, and must be comfortable with the busy morning rush. It's a great job for students with one or more free days in their schedule or a working barista who may want a change of pace or more hours.

Pay for this position is $10 per hour--plus generous tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs and our recipes
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area, dress appropriately for the Hospital
• Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers regularly and professionally

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a barista, minimum of 2 years
• High integrity with a great attendance record
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
