Job Title: Insurance Verification Specialist
Location: Tulsa, OK (Onsite)
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $16 – $18 per hour
System One is partnering with a Specialty Care Clinic in Tulsa to hire an experienced Insurance Verification Specialist . This role is key in ensuring patients have accurate coverage, proper authorizations, and a clear understanding of their benefits.
Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage.
Obtain and document prior authorizations for procedures/referrals.
Communicate with insurance companies, providers, and patients to resolve issues.
Review policies to confirm benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and costs.
Maintain accurate records in the EHR system.
Support billing to ensure smooth claims processing.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
High school diploma required; Associate’s preferred.
2–3 years of experience in insurance verification, prior authorization, or medical billing.
Strong knowledge of insurance processes and terminology.
Proficiency with EHR systems and healthcare software.
Detail-oriented, organized, and strong communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
