Job Description

Position Overview: A rapidly growing CPA firm is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in tax accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and clients. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting. Sponsorship Available! Key Responsibilities: Manage accounting, sales tax, and business needs for 50+ clients. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. Prepare and file business and personal tax returns, ensuring timely payment of taxes. Prepare and file sales tax returns accurately and in compliance with regulations. Provide expert accounting and tax advice to clients. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst, or Tax Preparer. Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures. Proficiency with accounting software, including QuickBooks, ProSeries, and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. A balanced approach to being detail-oriented and meeting deadlines. Strong understanding of financial principles and reporting. Educational Requirements and Experience: Must hold a CPA or equivalent certification (e.g., CA, ACCA). A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Why Join Us?
